West Texas District Junior Bible Quiz Site!

The rules with a “B” League are

1) Grades Kindergarten – 6^th grade

2) Must be the quizzer’s first year

3) The quizzers will quiz over 10s : 1-144; 20s:289-385; 30s:481-529. These questions will be divided over the year like the “A” League.

4) Will compete at Districts but cannot advance to Regionals

5) Can change to “A” League but not advised. Cannot change back to “B” League

6) Can only be in “B” league 1 year unless first year is Kindergarten, then advance to “A” League

The “B” League will help new teams to come into our league. This allows older kids to really learn the questions and quiz at a level that will make them want to keep quizzing. This also allows churches to keep their JBQ growing by starting “B” League teams that are less pressured than the “A” League team.

$20.00 Registration per team for the year.

This change is needed for 2 reasons. First, we want the kids to receive trophies and awards at the area and district level. Second, when we invest our time and money in something, we are more likely to remain committed to the end. The registration can be mailed in when you register on the website, or paid at the Season Opener. Due to the registration fee, we will not allow team splits for quizzing. We will allow teams to combine at Districts as long as there are no more than 8 players on a single team. “B” Leaguers will be allowed to move up to an “A” League team but the “B” leaguers will be at a disadvantage because they haven’t quizzed over all the questions.

All meets will consist of a “round-robin” of everyone quizzing each other once.

Due to the level of competition and the number of teams now quizzing, we need to keep this as fair as possible. If we allow unlimited rounds, it will skew the totals for the overall area winner.
