The
idea for this tournament was birthed in response to
a growing interest in invitational tournaments, and
a desire for a mid-season tournament with a
Nationals caliber level of competition. The
success of tournaments like the Corvette,
Bluebonnet, Saguaro, and others has paved the way
and demonstrated the need for another such
powerhouse tournament in the Midwest. The “Show
Me” Tournament of Champions will be an annual
event, held in February in Kansas City or St. Louis,
MO rotating between the two sites in successive
years. The
2005 Inaugural Tournament was a great success with
20 teams from across the nation competing. 15
of the 20 teams that attended this tournament
competed at the 2005 National Festival. In
2007, we were at Evangel Temple in Kansas City, MO. We had a great time, excellent
competition, and the reviews from the attendees were
excellent. We
anticipate another stellar group of teams for this
year, so book your place early.
