Hello everyone! I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get
information out to you! It has been a crazy summer for me and I am still
trying to get my bearings on what needs to be done and when with JBQ!

Congratulations to Capitol Hill on placing
26th at Nationals!! Way to Go!
The season opener will be on Aug 29th and will be hosted by Discovery
Church! (yeah, a new church hosting) I hope to do some official
training, brainstorming of ideas and of course, have a lot of fun
quizzing as well! If your church is planning on attending, please let
me know ASAP! There is always an additional cost to the season
opener...I will let you know what that will be soon.
We will continue
with the following rules:
6 quizzers to a team
5 question quiz out
with a bonus of 20 points
Fe es will be $10
per team and $10 per quizzer
We will have 3
leagues if we have enough participation (JV will combine with Varsity
if there are not at least 3 teams or more)
Novice – K-4th
grade only half the box (last half this season) Here is the breakdown:

The first meet is still set for Oct 3, but I am still
waiting for host churches for ALL the meets (except the season opener)
PLEASE let me know as soon as possible if you can host a meet!

I had a very wise woman (yes, it was J'Nell
)
suggest that we set the Jan meet for Jan 9th instead of the
2nd.... so, unless I hear serious objections, I have changed the date
to Jan 9th.
